Dock 2 Letterpress

The Bretz Poster Collection at Dock 2 Letterpress is the collection of
work produced by Robert Bretz, with a little help from his wife Linda, we're sure.
The posters photographed for this gallery were produced in the 1960s and 1970s,
when Robert was a Librarian/Curator at the Rochester Institute of Technology's
Cary Graphic Arts Library. When Dock 2 Letterpress purchased the wood type
collection the Bretz's graciously included the poster collection.

A big part of how Dock 2 Letterpress came about was due to Robert's collection.
The majority of our wood type was purchased from Robert and his wife in early 2009.
It was the acquisition of the Bretz's collection that jumpstarted Dock 2 Letterpress.
You can stop by the shop and see some of these amazing type specimens any
time as some of them hang in our shop's entrance.
